What Do You Keep ON Hand For Power Outages? We have been having a lot of power outages over the last year. More than double what we had the entire year before. It seems that the outages occur at night when it is dark. We keep flashlights on every nightstand in the house. We keep candles in... Emergencies So I have maybe a dozen different flashlifgts throughout my house inclusijng in my car as well as in the garage. These are for doing work in areas where there is not enough light. And especially for power failures when they occur. I have 2 that are... illuminator Do you think this is worth buying? It's a flashlight that's supposed to never need batteries...and it's supposed to work for about 1 hr after just 1 minute of "cranking" the "handle" or whatever it is...
Have you ever seen, bought, or heard of it?!... Do you carry a torch with you? I am sure where ever we live in, we have electricity readily available unlike the olden days where people use kerosene lamps or kerosene torches.I remember once there were frequent power failures.
