RIP Kate McGarrigle Another music icon has passed. Kate McGarrigle (one half of the McGarrigle Sisters -[i]Heart Like A Wheel[/i]) has died at the age of 63, after a lengthy battle with a rare form of cancer. She and her sister Anna recorded 10 albums in French and English, and their songs have been covered by artists such as Linda Ronstadt, Billy Bragg and Emmylou Harris.

They Get to Choose-A Heart Attack or High Bllod Pressure [em]cry[/em]I was in the pharmacy today when an elderly lady came to pick up her medications. She was atleast 70 years old, living on the small social security she received each month. When the pharmacy told her how much her medications would be, shehad only enough to pay for one of them. She did not get her othre medication.[em]cry[/em]If I had have had the money I would have gotten it for her.It almost brought tears to my eyes because she was almost in tears as to what she was going to do.I think it is so sad that people, especially the elderly,must choose vetween their medications or food or medications.Even Medicare isnt wnough for many of these people to pay for all of the medications they NEED.What do you think about this? Shouldnt we do more to help these people? What can we do? in the SILENCE of my HEART... i just don't feel anything today. just don't find courage to speak up. just don't find the flickering of light deep within. just don't see rainbow to climb and glide on and say weeeeeeeeeeeee...where in my heart would i find the LIFE it supposed to beat.where in my being would i find the beautiful old me?DON'T KNOW...but i am still alive though...[em]feelingsick[/em]you can inspire me... What would other doctors do if the doctor performing surgery has a heart attack? But, if the pain strikes you down and it hurt you all along, it is the time for you to use your brain. Because HEART knows how to start BUT only BRAIN knows when to stop.Simply true.
