"SPRINT" Cellphone Confusion--Is Sprint Closing? I recently read in an article on the internet that Sprint was going down the tubes and that a lot of it's stores were closing, but when I went and talked to the people who run the Sprint Store down here, they were saying that it wasn't going to... Wow! shouldn't they know how to.... I just bought or Sprint replaced my Palm Treo with the new Palm Centro.I love this phone! Very cute and functional. Well I finally got time to upload the software so I could Sync my phone to my desktop. I was excited because no more lost numbers.... sprint overcharging me I went to check my sprint bill today and I was hoping that they got it right this time around Oh, I was shocked at what I saw. They said that my bill is $720. I went through my bill detail and they charged me $450 for going over on my text messages.... Your service has been extended for 2 years, WHAT?! I just called Sprint, to pay my final bill and to tell them that I do not want to continue my contract with them. Well, I was in for a big surprise. Apparently, someone had purchased a phone on my account, (mind you I don't use the account, it's for... What cell phone provider do you use? My husband and I have Verizon Wireless. I have been with them for about 5 years now. Before I was with SunCom, but then they got bought out by AT&T. My next few bills were outrageous because I had some roaming charges that the representative told me... Does anyone else get screwed on their cell phone bill? I have a cellphone through Sprint/Nextel and I have the power pack which includes 450 anytime minutes.
