Gas or electric range? Which do you prefer? I have used both, and much prefer electric. It seems I have more control over the heat setting, it cooks more evenly, it is easier to clean, you can set things on the stove when not using it and the knobs are on top to keep... I tried it one time many years ago. I put a piece of garlic bread under there and it turned into a piece of charcoal in what seemed like 2 seconds.
