Can you read a map? November 13, 2008
In this day and age of GPS which directs you in the right direction, sometimes the wrong one, it stands to reason that some people have lost the ability to read a map. We rely on technology too much sometimes. If I napped you and... Going to a place the first time -do you take a map or seek directions? If you going to a place the first time do you take a map or seek directions from friends or relatives if you don't know where the place is? It happened to me last week, I had to go to a place which I did not know where it is even in our small island... Do you use a map or can you memorize directions? When you are going on a long trip, do you pull out a map and check it? How often if so? Can you memorize the directions ahead of time so you don't need a map? Do you take notes on the tolls, exits etc.? Do yo use google map? Do you use Google map or the MSN map? I use google map more often, though I have a GPS, I still check the google map before I start~ MapQuest SUCKS!! Any Other Places I Can Use? the last time this was posted was a year ago so im hoping that maybe there are NEW sites (since the last post) that i can choose from.. anyways im always getting lost using mapquest (same old story that every one has about them) but are there any... If you got lost at night, would you stop at a house to ask for directions? If I got lost on a back road, I'd be afraid to
stop and ask for directions.Most likely, I'd simply turn my car around
and head back in the direction from which I
