So I was sitting in the living room watching TV last night burning candles to burn off the smoke from my cigarettes. So I grabbed my camera getting this great... Candles and lead I just learned that many scented candles have lead wicks.release up to 20 percent of the lead into the air. The candles that are most likely have a lead-core wick are votives, pillars and tea lights or candles that produce puddles of wax.
In CPSC... candle scents What scent of candle is your favorite? I like all kinds! I think that my favorite scent is mulberry though. I will be testing a lot more different scents pretty soon so maybe I will find one I like more who knows. I'm burning through my candles like crazy! I've been on a candle spree lately. First I burned up all of the old ones I found in cupboards. Then I found a box of candles I must have bought to paint one time and burned those. They all seem to burn really fast and burn down into the candle like... eeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwww!! This is SO Gross!! the last time i was in paris i stepped into Diptyque to get a candle for my room (i just love the smell of jasmine) and i was shocked by what i saw (usually julia does this 4 me but i was feeling a little adventurous that day.) people were picking... 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10
