du you expect others to call you often people keep fidgeting with their mobiles just trying to make sure they have not missed any calls or repsonded to any messsages, if they are in some crowd the fidgeting increases to show others that they are being wanted by oithers but still... Wrong Number! I got a phone number that once beonged to an advocate... and i get calls from all his clients and frinds.. ans it irritating.. some talk in another anguage as well. They dont understand "wrong Number"Do you have this problem? Do you have one more phone at home? I have two phones at home. One is in the living-room and the other is in my bedroom. It will be much more convenient. Telephone manners, a lost way of life? I can see from discussions about telephones that many people get hang-ups. When I have a wrong number, I always apologize instead of just hanging up. It might just be the only kind word that person gets all day. Likewise, if I get the answering... SARAH JACKSON does NOT live here! I have lived in my home with the same phone number for two years, and everytime the phong rings, its for someone named Sarah Jackson. When we first got the number, we were freaking out because we were getting bill collection places calling, and... At which ring do you pick up the phone? I remember watching my an acquaintance sit by the phone and it rang. Once, twice, and the third ring she picked up. I asked her why she let it ring so long and she said you're never supposed to pick it up right away because it shows you're sitting... Phone? I absolutely hate talking on the phone. I have never been a big phone person. I'm not sure why.
I avoid calling people, or them calling me. I guess I just feel awkward on the phone.
Calling to make appointments is even harder, it takes me days... Will you talk on the phone for long time??
