Happy Holidays; The Unessary "PC" Scare In most of America, PC (politically correct) has become a popular catch phrase of those wishing to show their displeasure towards certain concepts. In my opinion, this fascination with labeling things as politically correct has escalated into... No more "Merry Christmas" Well it looks like they have finally done it!
First they take away Prayer in school then there
was a big whoop-to-do about saying the pledge of
allegiance now they say "NO MORE MERRY CHRISTMAS"
when referring to the Christmas holidays.... What do you think of all of the poilitcal correctness at Christmas? We are no longer supposed to say "Merry Christmas" so as not to offend non-christians or those who do not celebrate Christmas.
Santas have been told that they can no longer say "HO HO HO" because it may be offensive to women.
Personally, I think... Do you Celebrate Christmas? Philippines is known to be one of the Christian Countries in Asia. And as a Christian country, we really celebrate Christmas. We put importance on Christmas season. We do not have work during the holidays, and we have what we call "9 mornings" in... Do you say Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays? I thought people were supposed to be jolly during the holiday season, boy was I so wrong. I was at Walmart with my husband and my daughter finishing up our Christmas shopping while my sons were in school. So my husband and daughter walked away to go... Wish me Merry Christmas!!!!!! THere is a new trend starting. People who aren't afraid to be wished Merry Christmas. Instead of the hohum happy holiday (perverbial politically correct)saying. I'm tired of PC. If your Jewish Happy Hanakah!!, If your African American Happy... 11 months gone 1left!!!! time to evaluate our achievements in 2007 i can vividlly remember the night of the first day of 2007,oh what a day, but know it looks suprising to me looking back at how days turned into weeks, weeks months and know 11 whole months is gone. So far this year have been the most challening... Happy holidays I just want to wish all of you Mylotters a very merry, and happy Christmas.
