What do you personally do to help the environment? I try to wash clothes at 30 degrees, turn off the tap when I brush my teeth and use all energy saving light bulbs. What things do you do to help save resources and the environment? Do you use energy saving light bulbs? I do in most of my lights and i have found a slight differance in the electric bill over the past month:).
So Do you use them or just not bother:) Energy saving light bulbs,electrical whizz kid wanted. Having replaced my old bulbs with energy saving ones,I was amazed while lying in bed after turning it off a constant intermittent little flash every 5seconds,now having turned this off from the mains switch, Im sure this should not happen.is there... Do you use energy saving light bulbs? In the EU yesterday there was an agreement to phase out the traditional light bulb in favour of the new energy efficient ones. However, whilst being energy efficient, these do cost more to buy initially. Personally i am in favour of going green and... 10 top ways to reduce climate change!! I bought 2 of them. the light seems so much dimmer then the same wattage of regular light bulbs. it also looks kind of yellowish. I put them in lamps and when I turn the light on it hesitates a second before lighting up. I was wondering what anyone... Does Global Warmin exist? Or is it a media/ govermental spin to control masses? Now I am no scientist, but am absoloutly confused about the global warming issue. Is it the governments of the world making a big deal or is it a scientific fact. If it is, then why am I buying an energy saving light bulb, when Las Vegas exists 24... energy saving light bulbs.... can you really save money by using them? with everybody...trying to be more eco friendly.. and recycling and trying to save energy..... they say that you can save loads of money just by changing and using the energy saving light bulbs....can you really save that much that you can notice... Anyone else put energy saving light bulbs in and seeing the savings? We have not made any changes to our power usage (in fact we are using more with running the A/C during the summer) and we have seen a decrease in our bill.
