When do you think the minimum wage in the US will be like $15/hour? What is it like $7.25 right now? I remember in 2002, it was like $5.75. So how many more years/decades do you think it will be before it becomes $12, $15, or more per hour? 147 days That's how long it took for me to find a job. It's been the longest 147 days of my LIFE! The worst part? I can't work until the background check and my drug test have come back clean...and we're headed into a holiday weekend! ARGH!But now....I... Minimum Wage, are you on it? The minimum pay that an employee can expect from his or her employers is the 'minimum wage'. However, a lot of employees are complaining that this is not enough for their needs and so forth. Most minimum wage is alright for a single status person... Your government making minimum wage?? That is what California governor Schwarzenegger is considering now. Apparently he is mad at the buracracy and balloning budget for some of these civil servants. Do you think that a state could get away with paying people only minimum wage to get the... minimum wage I just read an article that said minimum wage is going up on Thursday to $6.55. Then later it would go up to $7.25. Excuse me, I thought that minimum wage was already at $7.25! I am certain that all of our employees who made minimum wage already had... Minimum Wage? Help us While we have all these prices rising I still cannot understand why we still have minumum wageof 7 dollars, the cost of living surpassed that wage a long time ago, long before recent incidents.
